Mortgage Compliance Attorney -Massachusetts Only

Spillane Consulting Services, Inc. is a rapidly growing national mortgage banking consulting firm established in 1991 to provide secondary market services and sales to banks, credit unions and mortgage companies, to help our clients maximize the value of their enterprises.

SCA is currently seeking a reliable and proactive attorney with a minimum of 3-7 years of direct legal and compliance experience in mortgage lending and compliance. This position will be heavily involved with all areas of compliance while engaging with prospects and clients alike. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to provide high-level legal advice on all matters related to residential mortgage origination, secondary market, compliance and servicing.

This role will require strong independent judgement and the ability to handle complex residential mortgage lending and compliance matters with little guidance or assistance. The position is ideal for a self-starter who seeks to provide advanced technical legal guidance in a friendly and collaborative in-house environment. This position can possibly be a remote position though periodic travel to our offices may be required. Only Massachusetts candidates (admitted to the MA bar and in good standing) are eligible for consideration. Deep mortgage industry and mortgage compliance experience is an absolute requirement.
